We never settle for quality you can’t trust because what is all too common with other stuff simply doesn’t hold up for workwear. Because quality matters!
IT TAKES 67 NOES FOR ONE PAIR OF YES-PANTS
This is work pant 1459, one of our most popular pants. It stands firm on a solid foundation of 67 noes. 67 noes which have led to an equal amount of improvements since we started producing it 7 years ago, and as many proofs of our way-of-working.
Every single “No” from us, could mean one less “Oh no” for someone else, and a better day at work for a worker wearing work pant 1459. And we say yes to that.
ONE STEP BACK CAN BE THE FIRST STEP FORWARD
Blåkläder set out to make a safety shoe as functional and durable as our workwear. A shoe that is safer for the environment, the workers making it, and the workers using it.
A worker takes about 80 million steps in his or her life at work. So we designed a completely new shoe that could be more reliable, and a supporting companion for a longer time. There was only one problem. We wanted to learn how to master the craft fully. Unfortunately, finding a sustainably driven safety shoe factory – which would allow us full insight and quality control, was a real challenge.
So rather than compromising what’s important to us, we took a step back and built our own safety shoe factory. Tailored for our product, for the working conditions we demand, and the quality control we’re used to. So, by taking one step back, we’re now making safety shoes – fit for millions of steps forward.
